Adult Speech Pathology

Speech pathology for children and toddlers

You’ll be well aware of the importance of speech therapy for kids, to identify and treat  language problems before they become entrenched. And at CAHC we know that fun is a vital ingredient in successful speech therapy for toddlers and children. Whether it’s at your home or at one of our nine clinics, our paediatric speech pathologists will incorporate highly effective treatment into sessions your child will truly enjoy. Plus we provide you with easy exercises to implement at home.

Our advanced children’s speech and language therapies cover:

Speech difficulties, including

  • Articulation and phonology delays or disorders
  • Stuttering
  • Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS)

Language difficulties, including

  • Late talking
  • Delayed understanding and expression
  • Delayed play skills
  • Autism spectrum and social communication disorders

And if your child is experiencing literacy difficulties, our professionals can devise an individually tailored program to improve his or her skills in the vital areas of word sounds, phonics, comprehension, fluency and vocabulary.

For your convenience we operate six days a week, Mon – Fri 9am – 6pm, extended 8am – 6.20pm for a 7pm close on some weekdays. Plus Saturdays from 9am – 1pm.

CAHC is a fully accredited NDIS service provider, ensuring you or your patients get the most out of your NDIS funding package. 

If you have a chronic condition lasting more than six months requiring speech pathology you may be eligible for bulk billing with CAHC, for up to five combined sessions per calendar year under the government’s Chronic Disease Management GP services. You’ll need a GP referral. Find out more here.
