Surleen Kaur

Surleen is a committed and passionate Occupational Therapist who has been practicing for several years. She believes that every individual has strengths to be able to achieve their goals and to live a meaningful life. She has experience working in paediatrics and mental health within multiple community settings managing diverse caseloads. Surleen enjoys empowering clients using a coaching approach to help foster healthy relationships and to take a step to help reduce mental health stigma for the younger generation. She has training in The Alert Program, Trauma-Informed Practice, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Brief-Solutions Focused Therapy, and Family-Based Therapy. Surleen applies a neurodevelopmental and psychosocial approach during the assessment process for individuals while ensuring there is collaborative care planning to develop holistic goals during the therapeutic journey. During her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors doing activities such as hiking, and playing with her dogs.
