PROFILE
Katy graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). Throughout her clinical training across private practice, outpatient rehabilitation, and hospital settings, she has developed a strong foundation in human anatomy, movement science, and musculoskeletal assessment. She has a particular interest in managing spinal conditions, sports injuries, work-related injuries, rehabilitation, and post-operative recovery.
Katy adopts a patient-centred and evidence-based approach, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s goals, lifestyle, and functional demands. She values clear communication and takes time to help patients understand the contributing factors behind their condition, empowering them with the knowledge and strategies needed for long-term recovery and self-management.
Her clinical practice integrates manual therapy, functional movement analysis, load management, and targeted exercise prescription to help patients restore mobility, build strength, and return safely to work, sport, and daily activities. She is dedicated to ongoing professional development and continually updates her skills through research, courses, and reflective practice to provide high-quality and contemporary care.
Outside of work, Katy maintains a consistent gym routine and enjoys strength and cardio training. Her personal commitment to fitness enhances her understanding of movement mechanics, exercise progression, and injury prevention—insights she incorporates into her clinical approach to support patients in achieving optimal and sustainable outcomes.
