PROFILE
Anindya Sarker graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology from the University of New South Wales.
In his previous career, he was a certified personal trainer, and ran a training business. He worked with clients to build exercise habits into their lifestyle, and improve their pain and fitness as a result.
Anindya truly believes that “movement is medicine,” and wishes to teach this philosophy to others in an enjoyable way. With a holistic approach, and focus on client education, he wants clients to understand the “why” behind exercise, and learn to love the process.
After experiencing many injuries throughout his training career, he became highly passionate in musculoskeletal health, pain and injury rehabilitation. He has a particularly strong passion for low back pain. Adopting a biopsychosocial approach, he works to help people reduce pain and gain back the activities they love. In addition to this, he has an interest in metabolic health, particularly diabetes.
Having trained himself in the gym since high school, he gradually developed a passion for lifting weights in a variety of unconventional ways. In 2024, he gained an interest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, appreciating the high level of fitness and technical understanding of the body that is required.
In his spare time, he is training or spending of time with close friends from school.
