- Report to your employer/ injury manager
You should notify your employer about your work-related injury as soon as possible and complete an incident report (if it is available). Make sure to provide details about the date, time, location, and circumstances of the incident.
- Medical Review
If youβve been injured while performing work-related tasks, seek medical attention as soon as possible. This could involve getting first aid treatment, going to a doctor, or going to the hospital depending on the severity of your injury. If you are unsure about where to visit regarding to workersβ compensation matter, feel free to contact one of our clinics.
- Complete and submit a claim form
Youβll need to complete a workersβ compensation claim form, which is available on your employerβs insurerβs website or can be obtained from your employer. Make sure to provide all the required information, including details about your injury and how it occurred before submission to employerβs insurer.
- Physiotherapy Treatment
Once you have received the claim number from your employerβs insurer, you may be entitled up to 8 Physiotherapy sessions which are pre-approved by the insurance. If you require further treatment, our Physiotherapist will request for additional sessions. Our friendly staff can assist you in finding a Physiotherapy clinic thatβs close and convenient to you.
