World Autism Month commences this Sunday the 2nd of April 2023.
It also marks the 15th annual World of Autism Awareness Day (WAAD).
World Autism Awareness Month aims to put a spotlight on the hurdles that people with Autism and others living with Autism face every day.
In Australia, it is estimated that every 1 in 100 people have Autism (source: autism.org.au). It is a growing global condition that lacks exposure and awareness. WAAD aims to further increase and develop world knowledge of children and adults who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
World Autism Awareness Organisation is committed to creating a world where all people with Autism can reach their full potential.
