The Role:
- We are seeking Massage Therapists to join us in the locations: Logan Village, Nerang or New Farm.
- Greeting of clients and responding to their enquiries.
- Individually tailored plans with evidence-based intervention within your scope of services.
- Provide 30 or 60 minute massages for appointment holders, walk-ins at our clinics.
- Guide clients through our service offerings and assist them choose the types of massages that would benefit most.
- Take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions, such as diabetes.
- Design sessions around the client’s specific complaints or problem areas.
- Communicate and gauge feedback from clients during massages and adjust techniques to meet their needs.
- Provide massage schedules for recurring sessions.
- Home visits may occasionally be required.
- Timely communication (face to face/phone/email) with patients, service providers, administration staff and case referrers.
- Recommendation of patients to other multi-disciplinary service providers such as Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians or Podiatrists.

About You:
- Organised team player who is willing to adapt, learn and innovate.
- Strong ability to maintain strong working relationships with patients and referrers.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills (documentation, correspondences, reports).
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice.
- Health fund registration.
- Have or be willing to obtain your ABN.
- Professional indemnity insurance, valid police check and working with children check.
- Previous skills in using medical and allied health software an advantage.
- Previous experience in an allied health setting an advantage.
- Cultural awareness and foreign language capabilities an advantage.
- Essential to have drivers license and own vehicle.
